We have been established for over 2o years and are one of the Midlands premier mobile disco operators.
 

We pride ourselves on providing a professional and reliable service for any occasion from a formal wedding to a children’s party. We always play the music you want at the volume you want. We never sub contract work so you know you will always receive the very best personal treatment from Martin St John himself.

We have full public liability insurance and all our equipment is PAT tested. Written contracts are always supplied.

Company history

Martin St John started working in the Northwest Club scene as a club DJ and also working on Hospital and university campus radio before moving into the mobile disco concentrating on the more prestigious venues. During this period very large ‘roadshow’ mobile discos were supplied as far away as Aviemore in Scotland. This period cumulated in a 10 year residency at a luxury country hotel in the Lancashire countryside that specialised in up market wedding functions.

After moving down to the Midlands, at the end of the nineties, Martin St John mobile discos quickly became established as one of the leading suppliers of mobile discos in the area. As well as the normal range of functions we started to specialise in themed music nights playing music from a particular era such as the 70’s or 80’s. These have proved to be extremely popular.

Equipment used

We can supply systems suitable for a small house party to a very large venue. We only use the very best brands these include JBL speakers, Crown amplification, Stanton CD players and Citronic mixers.

We normally use CD’s to give the improved sound quality over PC and I pod based systems but can also supply vinyl based systems, if required, to play rarer music on themed music nights.

Light shows can be from the very simple to the very elaborate and include DMX controlled scanners and projectors and infinity screens. If the venue allows we can supply smoke machines and lasers to give an absolutely stunning effect to make that special occasion really memorable.

For the theme nights we can supply the classic oil wheel projectors to give a real nostalgic effect.

All the equipment we use is PAT tested for your safety and peace of mind.
